Half day Tour: Peruvian Cuisine

We pick you up from your accommodation, then we walk to Market San Camilo which is just  5 min walking from the main square, where the guide talk about the different types of tubers we have in Peru and also an explanation of medicinal plants that are sold there.  Once you finish the tour in the market you walk to the restaurant where the cooking class takes place and we need to point out that it’s given by a professional chef in a well equipped kitchen and nice restaurant located in one of the most traditional neighborhoods of the White City.
Goal: To promote the typcal food of Arequipa and the whole Peruvian cuisine ranked among one of the richest WORLDWIDE.
 
You’ll learn how to prepare:
First option:
Starter: Causa (mashed potatoes) stuffed  with chicken.
Main course: Lomo saltado  de alpaca .
Drinks: Pisco Sour.
Second option:
Starter: Causa  (mashed potatoes) stuffed.
Main course: Cebiche of trout or another fish.
Drinks: Pisco Sour.
