What you need to bring/carry:
A backpack with a change of clothes for the whole period of the trek. Recommended:
shirts, shorts and some warm clothes: warm jacket.
Rain jacket or poncho (Only from December till March).
Strong, comfortable footwear.
Water bottle (You’ll need at least 5L bottle water for two days inside the Canyon) You can buy it over there, but for a reference a 2.5 L bottle water is S/.10.00 soles.
Flashlight, torch and batteries.
Hat or cap to protect you from the sun.
Sun block (sun protection cream).
Insect repellent.
Toiletries, towel and toilet paper.
Selection of small snacks, chocolate, dried fruit, biscuits etc.
Camera, plenty of film and spare batteries.
Swimsuit (For the Oasis swimming pool and hot springs after the trek)
You also need to bring your original passport on the trek or any other ID.
You need to bring some extra money (We think you should bring around $85.00 that’s including the extra payments we say we don’t include on the tour like Entrance to Colca BTC and La Calera Hot Springs+ Lunch, etc).
